The Stripe Reader S700 is an internet card reader with a 5.5-inch customer-facing touchscreen. It joins your network over Wi-Fi or Ethernet and is controlled from the Paid app, so the reader can stay on the counter while you take the payment.

How Stripe Reader S700 works

The Stripe Reader S700 connects to the internet rather than pairing over Bluetooth. Once it is on the same network as your phone or tablet, you start the payment in the Paid app and the customer taps, inserts or swipes their card on the reader.

The large touchscreen faces the customer, so they can see the amount, enter their PIN and confirm the payment themselves. It suits shops, cafes, restaurants and any counter where the reader lives in one place. Payments are processed through your own Stripe account.

Requirements: Connects over Wi-Fi or Ethernet and is controlled from the Paid app on a compatible iPhone or Android device on the same network.
